That's good to hear, because New York Fashion Week is coming up again...
After leaving his position as director of men's fashion at his showroom to take care of his daughter in September 2005, he began carrying a digital camera around and photographing people he saw on the street whose style he found striking.
"[My i Phone allows me to] instantly share on Instagram photos that I would have felt were too whimsical for my blog," he writes.
- Free live online no subscription webcam
- Latvia girl cam chat
- Sex skype dating free com
- dating delhi in
- good 1 year dating anniversary gifts for him
- dating man has child
He then posted these to his blog, sometimes with short comments, always either favorable or open-minded.
He is well known for photographing what have been described as 'real people.' Schuman began his site with the hopes of connecting fashion and everyday street life.
It's not even Fashion Week, but today is basically the Oscars of street style. Because two of its biggest players, former power couple Scott Schuman, aka The Sartorialist, and resident French girl photographer and blogger Garance Doré both have books out that catalogue the phenomenon of the sartorially savvy ($18; amazon.com) each features stunning visuals, intimate stories, and advice for readers clamoring to become as impossibly chic as their respective authors, including—for the vain among us—how to look good in photos. "It's also made me a better photographer by forcing me to keep my eyes open to any stimulation.""The best international designers are very, very good at: colour combinations, pattern mixing, layering textures, and mashing up unusual cultural references," writes Schuman.
Below, seven collective nuggets of wisdom we culled from each tome. All of which, he maintains, are made to inspire your everyday wares."If I were a style-conscious college student today and I had $200 to blow, I would not spend it on clothes," writes Schuman.
I've been wondering for ages how him and his wife keep up their relationship considering how often he is away - I guess they didn't. The Liberation article that one of the posters referred to is where Garance states that they are together.
